Planning

The Parish Council is consulted with regard to every planning application for development in this parish. These are discussed openly by council at a meeting, sometimes held specifically for that purpose to meet deadlines placed by the District Council. Planning applications should be submitted to, and are the remit of, the Planning Department at Huntingdonshire District Council

Installation of velux windows to roof and window to gable end approved by planning permission 0702301 Cllr Cotterill proposed and Cllr Lobb seconded that this application is rejected as the garage has not been built as determined by planning approval 07020301 (2/7/07).  This development was agreed as a single brick skin with piers, no door. The development is actually a cavity walled construction (query blown insulation), with attic trusses and a steel beam at mid span 180mm deep.  This application should not be considered until the original development has been reviewed as the ‘approved’ garage has not been built as per H31
